Casxim-LB 200

Casxim-LB 200 Dt Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections affecting the ear, nose, sinuses (sinusitis), throat (tonsillitis, pharyngitis), lungs (bronchitis, pneumonia), and urinary tract (cystitis and kidney infections). Bacterial infections occur when harmful bacteria multiply in the body, producing toxins that damage tissue and lead to illness.

This tablet contains two components: Cefixime, an antibiotic, and Lactic Acid Bacillus, a beneficial bacteria. Cefixime works by disrupting the bacteria’s cell wall, effectively killing the bacteria. As a broad-spectrum antibiotic, it targets various bacterial strains. Lactic Acid Bacillus, a good bacteria, promotes the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gut, supporting a balanced gut microflora and helping to prevent diarrhea often caused by prolonged antibiotic use. Together, these components help prevent infections, though Casxim-LB 200 Dt Tablet is not effective against colds, flu, or other viral infections.
